In the Maltese Islands the branch of the Mothers' Union seeks to support through local organisations, those parents and children whose family life has been disrupted by adversity. Our work includes connecting with people of all faiths who need comfort and support, according to the situation, and to encourage with worship, prayer and service, the women of the expatriate community in the faith and life of the Church.

 Visiting members are most welcome to attend any of our monthly meetings.
Corporate Communion is held on the third Monday of the month at 11.00 am in the Pro-Cathedral and on the first Wednesday of the month at 11.00 in the Seminary Gozo

The Purpose of the Mothers’ Union is to be especially concerned with all that strengthens and preserves marriage and Christian family life. The Aim of the Society is the advancement of the Christian religion in the sphere of marriage and family life. In order to carry out its aim it’s objects:
  • To uphold Christ’s teaching on the nature of marriage and promote it’s wider understanding.
  • To encourage parents to bring up their children in the faith and life of the Church.
  • To maintain a worldwide fellowship of Christians united in prayer, worship and service.
  • To promote conditions in society favourable to stable family life and protection of children.
  • To help those whose family life has met with adversity.
